Madness: Ride or Die shorts

My first Shorts will be dealing with a character called GARMR. Super mutant that is controlled by the New AAHW in my story. A synopsis will be written of the worlds current setting and events. This is a big step for me cause I've never really posted my writings aside from discord friends. so far they say its great so I'm hoping others will think the same

  {You’re are being dropped into a warehouse where an unknown amount of rebels reside.  It is believed to be a medical waystation to transport their wounded. Your orders are :EXTERMINATE: any resistance and kill any non-combatants. All life with warehouse is deemed exposable. Failure is impossible.}

/ADDENDUM\

Upon drop subject GARMR travels a total of 2 miles towards objective. Only oppositions were several instances of mutant canines. GARMR dispatched all several instances with extreme ease using only hand to hand combat, deemed them as a Low threat. No need to use high-caliber rounds. Killed without incident.

Once reaching the perimeter of objective warehouse GARMR found a group of mercenaries (consisting of five non-mutated men) hired by the rebels as guards. GARMR deemed them as Moderate threats and were dispatched with the same ease as the mutant canines, Though GARMR was shot multiple times with low-cal but this Hadn’t effect GARMR’s performance.

After dealing with the perimeter guards GARMR broke through the west side walls of the warehouse. Meeting multiple combatants that range to 150 Rebels consisting of healthy and wounded. All were exterminated with again ease. Wounded that were confined to beds were killed one by one, GARMR then proceeded to cover the warehouse in fuel then set it alight. Within 1 hour this mission was completed.

Second short of GARMR

[Project: GARMR awaiting ORDERS…]

  {Currently District 027-5’s sewers are being used as a rebel weapons trafficking route. You’re goal is to assist an ATP combat Engineer with planting explosives through the entire sewer section. He cannot be injured at any cost. If you find any rebel cells, your second objective is :EXTERMINATE: the cell and destroy any weapon caches. Know that there have also been sightings of the Blood Brood within this sewer section. Kill any you find and burn their bodies. You will be Outfitted with three 20-14 pack incendiaries. Failure is impossible.}

/ADDENDUM\

Upon drop, GARMR linked up with the ATP engineer he was assigned to protect. Both entered the sewer and spent 20 exact minutes finding their way to the weapon route. The ATP commented on an odd smell in the air and un-holstered his standard issued 10MM Glock. GARMR followed suit with his Gauss Class Pistol [GCP] for short. They both continued and found a ruined rebel cell. The ATP investigated and deduced that the blood brood found this cell and took its inhabitants. Before the ATP could react GARMR fired into a dark corner, a Blood Brood Fledgling fell dead from the shadows. GARMR proceeded to set the body alight.

After confirming contact with the blood brood both ATP and GARMR quickened to their first objective. The ATP attached the provided C6-Dem Explosive to a pillar and continued to place more explosives within the weak point. GARMR stood watch with GCP in hand. It is at this moment the ATP comments on how the horrid smell breaking through his air filters is, saying “it’s Worse than a decaying body covered in feces.” GARMR handed the ATP a spare air filter to help with the smell. After planting at Objective A they moved on to Objective B. Both rushed B while staying vigilant, and even with a new filter the ATP was commenting more on how strong the smell was getting.

Once arriving they found the objective was a semi-converted rebel cell turned blood brood hive. Both were set upon by Blood Brood Protectors. GARMR was shot multiple times in the chest region by 9mm and 10mm but shrugged off the attacks and obliterated a few protector heads with single shots from his GCP. The ATP used GARMRs body as cover to suppress fire against the protectors, (ATP and GARMR teamwork noted) Unfortunately a Blood Brood hound snuck up behind the duo to pounce onto the ATP. the ATP had no time to react, but GARMR quickly turned around and caught it mid-air by the throat and promptly fired six shots into its cranium. After the termination of blood brood GARMR set their bodies alight while ATP planted two explosive at the objective pillars. Both continued onto the final Objective C.

 Before reaching the objective both were fired upon by a encamped LMG nest, manned by rebels. The ATP took cover behind GARMR as he holstered his GCP and Un-holstered his Automatic Gauss Rifle (AGR) for short. Within a few seconds of being under fire GARMR Sustained one round to pierce his armored uniform, though firing a few Hollow point 50.cal straight through the gunners head and then the spotter. Both had little time to move forward before more rebels got to the LMG nest and fired upon the duo.  The ATP started trying to suppress their fire by firing blindly in their direction while GARMR took the brunt of the bullets while also firing into the ranks of rebels. After minutes of this firefight the rebels numbers were exhausted and the duo broke through the LMG nest with ease after all rebels were dead.

GARMR sustained very minor dents and bullet entries, not to be considered lethal to any vitals. [ESTIMATED SUIT INTEGRITY: 97.9%] The ATP had sustained no damage as GARMR acted as a shield for him. Once past the nest they arrived at the last objective which was seemingly in the midst of transferring weapon caches before they arrived. Both GARMR and ATP planted explosives and incendiary. Once planted they retreated back to the entry point without any problems. Once outside and at a safe distance the ATP armed his trigger and set off the explosives. The sewers collapsed and now the rebels won’t have a supply of weapons for a few weeks. Within 5 hours this mission was completed with no casualties or loss of assets.

  {You’re orders are to break a stalemate between our forces and well-equipped rebels within District Foundry 069-1 these rebels have splintered from the original faction. These rebels have raided three of our weapon cache bunkers, using them against us. They have a surrogate MAG Agent activated under their command. This may be your first challenge but me and the successor believe you’re ready for this kind of danger. Expect a few energy based weapons, though prototypes they can breach your suit.Know that your AGR is still being improved as of now, you’ll only have your GCP, make do. Failure is impossible.}

/ADDENDUM\

Instantly after GARMR released the pods doors he was pelted with bullets of varied calibers. Reacting quickly he took cover behind the pod, GCP in hand he deduced that he was expected and noticed the attackers were setting up a mounted LMG from their position. Quickly GARMR ran through the gun fire, only sustaining minor damage to the suit. While the enemy tried to retreat from his sudden charge, GARMR ripped the newly mounted LMG from its stand and used it to mow down three before they managed to get behind cover again but three more remained. GARMR noticed one of them took cover behind some wooden crates, taking aim he estimated the enemy grunts position and fired his GCP whilst suppressing the others that ran the other way with the LMG in hand. The shot was lined perfectly as the GCP round left a hole through the crates and grunt, The last two tried to arm a grenade and throw it but one of the LMG’s stray bullets pierced the arm of the grenade bearer with the armed grenade in hand. The two screamed before the explosion engulfed them both. With the combat over, GARMR continued to his destination to the AAHW forces that needed backup.

 

Upon arriving at a beaten down forward outpost, GARMR was welcomed by two Agents pointing SMGs at him but quickly were calmed by a SOLDAT with a beret. The Soldat lead GARMR into the camp and informed him on their situation on how the enemy are using the MAG Agent of theirs as a battering ram against their perimeter. Using hit and run tactics through the chaos when the Mag Agent charges into their range.  They’re down to Grunts and Agents with only a few ATPs to keep the perimeter Turrets powered. GARMR registered these statistics and contemplated a plan. They needed to remove the MAG, but keep the perimeter turrets active to deter a hit and run. Then a idea came, MAGs are easy to enrage and distract with a fight. If GARMR were to challenge the MAG before it got close enough to the turrets to distract, he could take it out without losing any of the assets here.  Upon devising this plan he explained to the Soldat in command. The Soldat nodded in agreement, Allowing GARMR into the field. 

 

After a few hours of waiting a siren sounded and followed by the words “THE MAG IS ON ITS WAY, PREPARE YOURSELVES!” GARMR was already up to his feet and sprinted to the front perimeter where the MAG attacks. He finally saw the MAG insight, its AAHW suit tattered and bloody but a sprayed on paint read “Fucc AAHW”

 

GARMR charged faster and unholstered his GCP, firing two shots into the MAG causing it to stumble but get back to charging now with a roar, Closing in the MAG raised its right fist at thrusted it forward to crush GARMR but He quickly dodged the fist and kicked the MAG in the gut before Firing another GCP round into the MAG but into the right arm. The MAG staggered back as it held its right arm in pain. GARMR dodged again from the MAG’s left arm swipe and punched the MAGs chest causing it to launch onto its back. Taking this opportunity GARMR jumped onto the MAG and punched its face several times before the MAG collided its fist with his side knocking him off. Quickly recovering GARMR charged the downed MAG again. The MAG readied to swipe again but GARMR ducked down and used his momentum to kick up dirt into the MAGs face causing it to roar in frustration over its eyes being pelted by dirt. It swiped blindly as GARMR finally grappled onto its head and punched its left eye with ferocity that caused the MAG’s eye to pop under damage. The MAG struggled and spasmed trying to get GARMR off but GARMR grabbed his GCP from his hip and shoved the firearm into the MAGs exposed eye socket. Firing the remaining rounds into the MAGs skull finally ceasing its roaring and flailing. 

GARMR held the GCP in the MAGs head a bit longer before ripping the firearm out with force causing skull fragments to explode out and spraying GARMR with blood and grey matter.

Climbing off the MAG he looked to the Forward Outpost then to where the MAG came from, a Construction site with some makeshift watchtowers. GARMR returned to the outpost and informed the commanding Soldat that the MAG has been dealt with. GARMR informed that he saw the Rebels base and that a few mortar strikes could soften them up to be wiped out by GARMR himself. The Soldat nodded in agreement but wanted to come alongside GARMR with some Agents and Grunts. GARMR objected but the commander didn’t oblige. The day passed as GARMR watched the perimeter for any attacks.

(At Midnight we finished the adjustments to the AGR and sent in a osprey to provide equipment to the forward outpost and GARMR himself)

Come morning the attack was set in motion. Finally supplied his AGR GARMR used its new collapsible scope and fired upon the makeshift watch tower. The watchmen within the towers were eliminated without being able to alert the base.  Once they’ve closed in on the rebel base, two agents planted C4 on the makeshift walls.  Once detonated GARMR led the charge in while the Commander Soldat hung behind with his troops to mop up any left behind by GARMRs attack.

 

GARMR was faced with little resistance due to the rebels being unprepared, GCP and AGR in hand he cleared two barracks of rebels before a defending force attempted to halt him and the AAHW forces.  A particularly large and muscular rebel charged GARMR with an axe but GARMR holstered his GCP and grabbed the mans head and crushed it with ease. Then more charged GARMR with firearms and melee weapons. GARMR activated the new flamer attachment to the AGR and incinerated the first wave of melee then switch to burst fire.  Before GARMR could take aim he was staggered forward as a rebel had snuck behind him and jumped onto his back. Quickly grabbing the rebel he slammed them to the ground and stomped on their spine. He was then pelted by gun fire and then a Molotov that narrowly missed him. GARMR then holstered the AGR and charged the gunmen. The first he got close to was impaled by GARMRs fist and thrown at the nearest rebel. Grabbing a another rebel GARMR slammed them on his knee completely breaking their spine then used them to bat away another rebel that tried to stab GARMR from behind.  GARMR grabbed the Rebel that tried to stab him by the throat and ripped their head off with the other hand. GARMR grabbed their knife and threw it into the head of another rebel that tried to run.  GARMR was then shot by a laser, this beam only hit his shoulder but broke through the suit  [ESTIMATED SUIT INTEGRITY: 86.9%] quickly GARMR ran behind a concrete pillar and un-holstered the AGR, activating the smoke release.

With the new cloud of smoke he activated his helmets thermal vision. Taking aim he searched the field for where the beam came from, GARMR ducked as he saw the users weapon charged and released another beam. Knowing where they are now, GARMR took aim and waited for them to make another shot. They stood up and their head immediately exploded. GARMR walked out of cover and investigated the field, He heard over the comms that the rest of rebels have been killed with no survivors. Only asset losses were grunts. Acceptable.
